Individual Therapy

Some days it’s a quiet heaviness. Other days it’s sharp. You can function—of course you can—but something in you knows this isn’t sustainable. Individual therapy is a space to slow down and look at what’s actually going on, instead of just managing the symptoms.

My name is Marko and I offer individual therapy in the Netherlands (Arnhem and Amsterdam) and online, for people navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, loneliness, identity questions, or the impact of past experiences.

Individual therapy session

My approach is integrative: I draw on Gestalt therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed methods, adapted to what’s actually happening for you session by session, rather than a fixed script.

What can individual therapy help with?

  • Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
  • Loneliness and disconnection
  • Navigating life transitions
  • Healing from trauma
  • Identity questions and self-understanding
  • Improving communication and boundaries in your relationships

What does a session look like?

  • The first session is used to map what’s going on and what you’d like to work toward
  • Sessions give you uninterrupted space to be heard, without being rushed toward a fix
  • We work with emotions, body responses, and patterns, not just the surface conversation
  • The pace and direction are shaped around you, not a fixed program

I work in English. Therapy is available online and in person in the Netherlands—in Amsterdam and Arnhem.

If you’re looking for a space where you can speak openly, without fear of judgment, and be met with curiosity and care—write to me.
